THE COMPOSTING: From Performance to Presence

For nearly two decades, I've worn many masks: collegiate coach, continuous improvement engineer, organizational psychologist, performance consultant. Each role a different attempt to answer the same question: How do we create environments where people truly thrive?

Through boardrooms and locker rooms, manufacturing floors and soccer fields, I kept encountering the same patterns. The team that couldn't win despite perfect tactics. The organization that optimized everything except meaning. The leaders who performed excellence while dying inside.

I built frameworks. Created Organa™. Earned certifications. Coached many. And slowly realized I was treating symptoms, not the source.

What's composting:

  • The belief that performance can be optimized without presence

  • The framework that tried to systematize what can only be lived

  • The consultant who had answers before hearing the questions

  • The coach who focused on winning over becoming

What's emerging from the decay:

  • Recognition that organizations are living fields, not machines

  • Understanding that sustainable change comes from seeing patterns, not imposing solutions

  • The shift from performance coach to pattern reader

  • Fractal Praxis: where individual struggles reveal collective truths

My CV reads like someone searching for something across every possible domain. Now I see: I was circling the same truth from different angles. Every role—from carpenter to VP, from soccer coach to psychologist—was teaching me the same thing:

We gather but do not meet. We optimize but do not transform. We perform but do not presence.

The 30-Day Portal Experiment is my public composting. Watch someone with 20 years of credentials admit they've been asking the wrong questions. Witness frameworks dissolve into field work. See what emerges when we stop performing transformation and start living it.

The impressive resume remains. But now it's mulch for what wants to grow.

The field doesn't need another expert. It needs someone willing to unknow in public.
